TOKYOminatorie is an exhibition room intended to introduce visitors to
the history, appearance, and future of Tokyo Port and Tokyo Waterfront
City by taking advantage of its location overlooking the waterfront area
from 100 meters above the ground. |

Throughout the ages, the port has supported Edo/Tokyo's industry and people's
lives, and fostered a rich urban culture. A chronology of graphic photographs looks back on the 400-year history of the port and Edo/Tokyo. |

Dioramas and models to re-create the lifestyle of Edo citizens along the
river bank and introduce the culture generated from the marine trade and
port in the Edo Period. |

PORT DECK |
Tokyo Port supported Tokyo's postwar reconstruction and growth, and continues
to develop today. On the PORT DECK, where the port spreads out before your
eyes, six stories related to Tokyo Port are introduced through video. |

The facility includes Marine Parks developed on reclaimed land as a place
where everyone can interact with the sea and nature and enjoy sports and
recreation, a section introducing overseas ports with which Tokyo Port
has sister port and friendship port relationships, and a seminar room where
training program and other events can be held. |

FUTURE DECK |
There is a "Creation of Port Virtual Explorer" where you can
explore Tokyo Waterfront City using augmented reality and 360-degree video
on a tablet, a viewing corner for materials held in the exhibition room,
and a rest area where you can enjoy the view of the waterfront subcenter
spreading out below. |

"Creation of Port Virtual Explorer" Using a tablet, you can experience AR images of the Tokyo Waterfront City, as well as 360-degree images of places that are normally not visible to the public, such as the cockpit of a gantry crane, the inside of common duct, and the top of the 126m-tall main tower of the Rainbow Bridge. |
